Who Signed The Pact?
| Names | School | Comments |
|---|---|---|
| Croy Family | Dilworth Elementary | Technology in our family is earned, not expected. Fresh air and the outdoors have more to offer than a screen. Waiting as long as possible to get a smart phone. |
| Ernst Family | Dilworth Elementary | |
| Joseph, Molly, Matilda + Dorothy Goldberg | Dilworth Elementary | No mobile phones, smart watches, or tablets for us this year. Yes to a land line, analog Swatch watches so they know when they’re expected home from the park, and a solid antique typewriter. |
| Sacksteder Family | Dilworth Elementary | The girls earn tokens for their chores and they have the option of using 3 tokens for 30 minutes of tablet time nightly. That is pretty much the only screen time they have. And if they don’t have enough tokens, then no tablet time! They both have a Tin Can phone (similar to an old school landline) that can be used to communicate with friends. |
| Sink Family | Dilworth Elementary | As little as possible while still teaching kids some basic skills for the future (typing, creating presentations, researching topics using valid sources, using a landline phone for safety and to practice communication skills with family and friends). No personal devices, no social media, no tracking devices. |
